<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La crisis económica de 2008 y la de salud originada por el conoravirus en 2020, obliga al sector asegurador privado a reflexionar acerca de su función social en el aseguramiento de las contingencias relacionadas con los riesgos de exclusión social ofreciendo si fuera posible coberturas de escudo social. Los poderes públicos en esta crisis al contrario de la anterior si están desplegando coberturas públicas sociales que pretenden actuar como una red de seguridad para las personas vulnerables hasta que puedan volver la normalidad de manera progresiva</abstract>
