<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El documento analiza los principales desafíos que afronta el sector bancario europeo, especialmente el español, en un contexto de incertidumbre geopolítica, transformación digital y transición hacia la sostenibilidad. Partiendo de una posición de solidez financiera, la banca debe reforzar su capacidad de adaptación ante riesgos crecientes como las tensiones globales, la automatización y los cambios en las expectativas de los clientes. También se destaca la importancia del uso responsable de la inteligencia artificial, la gestión del riesgo climático y la necesidad de simplificar el marco regulatorio europeo. El artículo concluye que estos retos representan tanto amenazas como oportunidades para construir un sector financiero más innovador, resiliente y comprometido con el desarrollo económico sostenible</abstract>
