<abstract displayLabel="Summary">This Code of Professional Conduct sets out common principles of ethical and professional behavior for actuaries. It explains scope and application, including expectations in professional services and other contexts, and defines key terms. The Code establishes five core principles: Integrity; Competence and Care; Compliance; Impartiality; and Communication. It further amplifies each principle with practical requirements on honesty, confidentiality, avoidance and disclosure of conflicts, professional judgment, quality and timeliness of work, adherence to laws and standards, and clear, appropriate reporting to intended users. It addresses support roles, disclosure when not following recommended actions, and precedence of legal/regulatory requirements.</abstract>
