<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La consideración de los riesgos en las empresas ha evolucionado extraordinariamente en los últimos años. La gravedad potencial de los riesgos se ha incrementado de forma notable y las coordenadas sociales, económicas y técnicas se vuelven cada vez más exigentes. La seguridad en la empresa, ya no debe entenderse sólo como un tema de seguridad e higiene en el trabajo, sino que su nivel ha de ser mayor, incorporando y aplicando técnicas y herramientas de gestión que hagan más efectivo el trabajo.</abstract>
