<abstract displayLabel="Summary">L'auteur définit les différentes notions d'effort que l'on doit distinguer dans le système homme-chariot: effort requis, effort produit, effort maximal et effort maximal admissible. Il rappelle ensuite la réglementation en vigueur ainsi que les normes adoptées. Le diagramme des paramètres agissant sur le système homme-chariot est décrit. L'analyse bibliografique présente en trois points les travaux menés jusqu'à présent sur les efforts de traction et de poussée</abstract>
