Title: The Effect of toxic particles on the electrophysiology of macrophage membranes / I.P. Gormley, M.O. Wright and J. OtteryAuthor: Gormley, I.P.
Notes: Sumario: Changes in cell membrane potential and membrane electrical activity have been investigated in tissue culture, using guinea pig alveolar macrophages and a macrophage-like tumour cell line (P388D1), during phagocytosis of dust particles. The dusts were selected for their different abilities to haemolyse erytrocytes. Possible reasons for the changes in the electrophysiology of cell membranes during phagocytosis are discussedRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 2, August 1978 ; p. 141-149Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes químicos Polvo Biología Microbiología Hematología Medicina laboral Eritrocitos Experimentos Otros autores: Wright, M.O.
