Title: Evaluation of exposure to whole-body vibration by dosimetry / J. Malchaire, F. Levie and G. RensAuthor: Malchaire, Jacques B.
Notes: Sumario: The evaluation of exposure to whole-body vibration according to ISO Standard 2631 requires very sophisticated instrumentation and lengthy analysis. A slight modification of the amplitude vs limiting time relationship make the use of the equivalent weighted amplitude concept possible. The evaluation may then be based either on the equivalent weighted 1/3 octave spectrum or, very simply, on the overall equivalent weighted amplitude. A "factor of equivalence" is proposed in order to compare the two methods. The methods are illustrated for six machines in use in a quarryRelated records: En: The Annals of occupational hygiene. - Oxford [etc.]. - nº 4, 1982 ; p. 373-380Materia / lugar / evento: Higiene industrial Contaminantes físicos Vibraciones Dosimetría Métodos de análisis Maquinaria Piedras Otros autores: Levie, F.
