<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: A method is described for determining the size distribution of oil mist droplets in the workplace. Sampling is carried out by a cascade impactor equipped with standard microscope slides as collecting stages. The procedure was validated in laboratory tests and size distributions were measured in field applications. Previous field investigations on oil mist size are reviewed. Granulometric distribution should be determined together with other oil mist parameters because of its industrial hygiene significance in evaluating the health risk of oil mist exposure</dc:description>
