<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs) of the musculoskeletal system are one of the more frequent classes of illness in the workplace. THis study tested the null hypothesis that participation in a biofeedback programme for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) intervention, using audible EMG signals from the forearm muscles to discourage awkward hand postures and exertion of excessive force with the fingers, has no effect on CTS symptoms</abstract>
