Notes: Sumario: What is the value of a human life? one way of approaching that question is to use the value of a sved statistical life. Statistical lives refer to a situation in which ex post unindentified pesons are subject when the risk upon a whole population is reduced an an unidentified person is saved. Interventions from government, or other parts of the public sector, that save lives will be termed lifesaving interventions.
