<abstract>Los daños asegurados ya se elevan a 7,45 billones de pesetas. Lo cierto es que incluso las cifras más prudentes están muy cerca del nivel de peligro para el futuro de muchas entidades. El mercado ha reacccionado rápidamente y las aseguradoras, pero sobre todo las reaseguradoras, están imponiendo fuertes incrementos de tarifas. Donde más se ha notado es en las coberturas de los aviones. La Asociación Europea de Gestores de Riesgos (FERMA) ha propuesto constituir una sociedad de reaseguro que asuma las coberturas por riesgos de terrorismo y catástrofes naturales de las industrias europeas</abstract>
