<abstract>La necesidad de facilitar a las empresas titulados universitarios expertos en seguridad, medio ambiente y calidad justificó que en el año 1997 la Junta de Gobierno de la Universidad de La Coruña crease como título propio el Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, al que siguieron años después otros dos títulos, éstos de segundo ciclo, (Graduado Superior en Gestión de la Prevención y de la Calidad, y Graduado Superior en Ciencias Técnicas y Gestión Medioambiental), con lo cual se cumple el objetivo del presente plan: proporcionar universitarios profesionalmente capacitados para desempeñar sus funciones en diferentes campos</abstract>
