<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Han sido muchos los contratos de seguros de cobertura por fallecimiento que no han desplegado sus efectos respecto de los beneficiarios, los cuales se han quedado sin percibir la prestación a la que tenían derecho, por el desconocimiento de la existencia del seguro. La Ley 20-2005 sobre la creación del Registro de Contratos de Seguros de cobertura de fallecimiento y el Real Decreto 298-2007 por el que se desarrolla la ley anterior han venido a poner solución a dicha problemática.</abstract>
