<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La biomedicina, cada vez más presente en la práctica médica, comporta un cambio radical en el modo de abordar el tratamiento de la salud. Esta realidad incide, a su vez, en la esfera del Derecho y, en particular, en la institución de la Responsabilidad Civil, cuyos principios, basados en una inventerada tradición que se remonta al Derecho Romano, puedan resultar insuficientes para dar respuesta a los problemas que suscitan. El objetivo del presente trabajo es poner de manifiesto dichas insuficiencias e intentar darles soluciones</abstract>
