El prefijo "micro" hace escasa justicia a un sector cuyo potencial se estima en cientos de millones de consumidores y que podría manejar en el futuro entre 1.500 y 3.000 millones de pólizas, según cálculos de la aseguradora Lloyd's. Un dato. Actualmente cubre a 135 millones de personas, sólo el 5% de su posible mercado. Contadas industrias pueden presumir de tanto cliente y de tanto crecimiento. De hecho, Swiss Re habla de tasas anuales de desarrollo del 12% </abstract>
