<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Por industria biotecnológica se entiende un conjunto de procesos cuya esencia es el uso deliberado de microorganismos para la obtención de productos y servicios de interés para el hombre. Algunos de los microorganismos utilizados pueden ser perjudiciales para la salud. En esta nota técnica de prevención se pretende revisar los aspectos generales de los procesos más comunes, así como las principales exigencias de bioseguridad relativas a los equipos y a los locales de trabajo</abstract>
