<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas [CSIC) acogió el pasado 19 de septiembre la XVI Convención Iberoamericana de Excelencia, bajo el título "lberoamérica : Presente y Futuro". Haciéndola coincidir con los actos conmemorativos del Bicentenario de la Constitución Española de 1812 que se celebran en España, cuyo punto culminante se alcanzará en el mes de noviembre con la celebración en Cádiz de la XXII Cumbre Iberoamericana de Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno, este año la Convención -que anualmente se celebra en un país diferente del ámbito iberoamericano- tuvo lugar en Madrid. </abstract>
