<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Utilizando microdatos de la Encuesta de Presupuestos Familiares, este artículo ofrece un análisis de la incidencia distributiva de los impuestos indirectos. Los resultados obtenidos indican que tales impuestos tienden hacia la proporcionalidad al tiempo que muestran una nula capacidad redistributiva. Los cálculos han sido efectuados tomando el gasto de los hogares como variable proxy de la renta</abstract>
