Sumario: This report provides an overview of the re/insurance industry in the Middle East and Pakistan. There is a further breakdown of the countries reviewed between those of the Middle East region generally (Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Syria) and Pakistan, and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (the GCC - Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates). This is because the insurance markets in the GCC states are generally larger and more developed than in other countries in the Middle East region
