Scenarios are being used by the Chartered Insurance Institute to enlighten the minds of the next generation about insurance and tempt them into joining the sector. One recent afternoon, I was privileged to be invited to observe. Waiting expectantly for the 'show' to begin, I felt almost like one of the other children seated in the Insurance Hall of the CII's ornate headquarters. The group of 13 and 14-year-olds from St Paul's Academy in Greenwich, London, had been brought here by their careers adviser and other teachers to learn about insurance, as part of their career-focused expedition into the capital's financial ser vices sector.
