After all, these events take a financial, emotional, and physical toll on households. Given the importance of this topic, LIMRA Secure Retirement Institute explored retiree experiences with health care expense shocks, pre-retiree perceptions of health care expense shocks, experiences and expectations around out-of-pocket expenses in retirement, and the role of financial professionals (FPs) in preparing consumers for all of it.</dc:description>
