<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Las primas de seguro de Vida en Latinoamérica bajaron en 2016, reflejando el retroceso económico regional, y hubo una contracción en las primas de No-Vida, originada por la reducción del volumen de primas en ramos cíclicos. Las reformas estructurales en marcha ayudarán a reducir la volatilidad económica y a mantener el valor de los productos de ahorro en la región. Sobre esta situación trata el presente artículo, que es un extracto del informe sobre economía global El Seguro Mundial en 2016: La Locomotora China Avanza a Toda Máquina, publicado en Sigma Nº 3/2017 de Swiss Re.</abstract>
