En contratos como los seguros multirriesgo, el capital asegurado se identifica como el valor total de la protección otorgada por elasegurador y, en lo tocante a los bienes asegurados, adopta dos formas distintas:
El continente, que se identifica con las partes inmuebles, es decir el patrimonio inmobiliario protegido y, el contenido, que se identifica con los bienes y objetos muebles protegidos en el contrato y que usualmente están en el continente.</abstract>
