Sumario: The competence of the European Supervisory Authorities' (ESA)'s (the European Banking Authority, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, and the European Securities and Markets Authority) to deliver an opinion is based on Article 29 and Article 56 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010, Article 29 and Article 56 of Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010, and Article 56 of Regulation (EU) No 1095/2010, as anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) relate to the ESAs' area of competence.
