<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Para la realización de la primera imagen de marca de la compañía se contrató al dibujante y pintor Rafael de Penagos. En este primer cartel de MAPFRE, Penagos muestra la figura de un segador. La imagen del segador se convirtió en un icono para MAPFRE y la figura se trasladó a las placas metálicas que se entregaban a los mutualistas para colocar en los centros de trabajo asegurados. El segador se mantuvo como firme seña de identidad hasta los años cincuenta.</abstract>
