<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Este informe tiene como principal objetivo ofrecer un análisis del desempeño de la industria aseguradora en América Latina en el ejercicio 2017, incluyendo también un análisis de su evolución en el periodo 2007-2017. En 2017, el volumen total de primas en América Latina creció un 8,6% respecto al año anterior. La recuperación económica vivida en 2017 ha favorecido al desarrollo del mercado asegurador, que ha vuelto a su senda de recuperación en el crecimiento de la cuota del mercado mundial, situándose en el 3,4% de las primas de seguros globales
