<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La casuística es indudablemente muy amplia y, para abordar esta materia de notable interés en tiempos de coronavirus, lo primero que debemos discernir es si la residencia es de titularidad privada o pública, pues en función de ello estaremos, respectivamente, ante un supuesto de responsabilidad civil o de responsabilidad patrimonial de la Administración pública competente. También trataremos otros aspectos interesantes, como la figura de las compañías aseguradoras por su relevante papel en la relación jurídico-procesal que pueda entablarse a la hora de depurar responsabilidades, los plazos para ejercitar la acción y el ramo probatorio. Veamos, por tanto, cuáles son los puntos clave en esta materia.</abstract>
