In Spain, aggregators, in particular, and online purchasing in general, are important factors in the distribution of car and home insurance, especially among customers making an active buying decision rather than those that simply renew an existing policy. The survey also investigated the proportions of customers holding different policy types, to understand the impact that this has on propensity to use aggregators.
