<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La pandemia de COVID-19 ha impactado la economía global de una forma sin precedentes, generando turbulencia en el entorno de los negocios. La volatilidad en los mercados y perspectivas negativas sobre el crecimiento económico hacen que las compañías tengan que afrontar una nueva realidad y diversos retos. En este contexto, la dirección de las empresas debe evaluar si existe un indicio de que haya ocurrido un deterioro del fondo de comercio y/o de otros activos, tanto bajo normativa contable internacional como bajo PGC. En este artículo discutimos algunos puntos a tener en cuenta al realizar un test de deterioro dentro de la coyuntura actual.</abstract>
