<abstract displayLabel="Summary">To bring you the 2020 edition of Global Reinsurance Highlights, S&P Global Ratings sought data on around 132 reinsurance organizations from over 33 countries. As in previous years, the data is based on survey responses from reinsurance organizations worldwide. To ensure consistency, we requested that respondents complied with clear guidelines on the definition of the financial items required. S&P Global Ratings also attempted to verify the data submitted by referring to publicly available data sources, where possible.</abstract>
