<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El caso Prestige nos ofrece una muestra extrema de las dificultades de la reparación de los daños ambientales; no sólo en el plano físico, usualmente, imposible, sino también jurídico. La reparación en términos jurídicos depende de un concepto clave: el responsable. La responsabilidad se ha determinado, en el caso que nos ocupa, por la vía penal. En última instancia, el Tribunal Supremo ha establecido que existen unos responsables a título de delito que, por consiguiente, deben asumir las responsabilidades civiles por los daños producidos.</abstract>
