<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El término «economía circular» se refiere al concepto de conservar el valor de los productos, materiales y recursos durante el mayor tiempo posible y minimizar los residuos. Este enfoque difiere del ciclo tradicional de «extraer, fabricar y tirar», y presenta importantes ventajas en lo que atañe a la sostenibilidad. Para los ciudadanos, da lugar a productos que duran más o son más fáciles de reparar, actualizar, volver a fabricar, reutilizar o reciclar. Para las empresas, ofrece varias ventajas potenciales, como una mayor eficiencia en el uso de los recursos y una menor exposición a la volatilidad de los precios</abstract>
