<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Recent global events have heightened awareness of systemic inequalities and historical injustices. These incidents have provoked a societal rethinking of racial, social and economic justice, placing philanthropic organisations themselves under scrutiny for their role in perpetuating or challenging existing power imbalances. Since then, a clear line has been drawn connecting growing inequality and power imbalances with increasing polarisation and challenges to democracy. The Philea 2025 Forum addressed these critical issues, exploring the intersection of inequalities, power imbalances and the structures that sustain them (including within philanthropy) and the ways in which we can help create the more equitable and just society we want and need</abstract>
