Respondents ranked geopolitical instability/war as the top threat, followed by malicious cyber risks and supply chain/manufacturing issues. For operators, the most urgent 2026 risks are ATC issues/upgrades, staff shortages/fatigue, runway incursions, and airspace management with UAVs/eVTOL. For (re)insurers, US claims inflation is the greatest challenge, alongside market conditions/rate adequacy and talent shortages. Opportunities are led by AI, new aircraft types (UAVs/eVTOL), and growing aviation demand; AI is primarily seen as an efficiency and decision-quality enhancer. Overall, the market is increasingly defined by systemic risk, operational constraints, and external volatility, implying the need for evolved exposure management, pricing adequacy, and policy wordings.</abstract>
