<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El artículo analiza el creciente riesgo de incendios forestales en un contexto de cambio climático, abandono rural y expansión urbano-forestal. Propone un enfoque integral basado en la gestión del combustible mediante tratamientos silvícolas, quemas prescritas y pastoreo, dentro de estrategias de Manejo Integrado del Fuego (MIF). Destaca la necesidad de diseñar paisajes resilientes, integrar soluciones tecnológicas, fomentar la corresponsabilidad social y establecer marcos normativos y financieros que incentiven la prevención. Subraya la importancia de la coherencia política, la gobernanza multinivel y la justicia social para reducir riesgos y garantizar la sostenibilidad económica y ambiental.</abstract>
