<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Con motivo de la preocupación por la incidencia, que los tratamientos con productos fitosanitarios, podía tener sobre la salud de los trabajadores agrícolas, se inició un trabajo de investigación y como paso previo se realizó entre trabajadores almacenistas y empresarios agrícolas de 12 provincias del sur del país y se comprobó que hubo penetración de pesticida tanto en forma de polvo como, lo que es más grave en forma de vapor , en esta última el tóxico se incorpora de forma directa al sistema circulatorio , a través de la vía pulmonar, por tanto se demuestra que los filtros mecánicos no brindan suficiente protección frente a los pesticidas</abstract>
