<abstract displayLabel="Summary">Lorsque la réduction de la quantité de polluants émis par une source n'est pas possible ou donne des résultats insuffisants, deux moyens permettent d'assainir l'atmosphère des lieux de travail: le traitement localisé de la zone d'émission ou la ventilation générale. Par l'étude des champs de vitesse destinés au captage des polluants, l'INRS se propose de fournir les éléments permettant de concevoir des dispositifs de captage adaptés aux différentes situations particulières. Le présente article enferme les résultats présentés par l'INRS sur leur étude de captage de polluants au poste de travail, qui comprenant un bilan énergétique, rendront possible le choix de la solution la plus économique à efficacité comparable. Cette note est la prémière d'une série qui sera consacrée à ce thème. Elle concerne le traitement d'un type de poste couramment rencontré: un plan de travail placé contre une paroi. L'une des solutions étudiées, dont l'originalité est d'utiliser l'induction crée par un jet plan, se révèle particulièrement avantageuse</abstract>
