<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: The two main target organs affected by chronic exposure to manganese dust are the lungs and the central nervous system. The design of the present study was again aimed at the detection of preclinical effects of Mn on lung ventilatory parameters, neurofunctional performances, and some serum parameters reflecting the activity of the hypothalamo pituitary testicular axis. An effort was also made to estimate quantitatively the lifetime integrated occupational exposure to respirable and total airborne Mn dust of each Mn exposed worker</dc:description>
