Sumario: Colorimetric indicator tubes have been an established method for measuring the atmospheric concentrations of gaseous contaminants for many years. ThIs paper reports an extension of the technique that enables liquid and solid aerosols to be quantitatively measured using colorimetric indicator tubes. Four different tube types are described each of wich differs from the others in its construction. The results of comparative tests are reported. An indication of possible future developments is given
