Sumario: This article reports on preliminary tests of FTIR spectroscopy for use as a breath analyzer, which may be an improvement over previous analysis methods. Four human subjects were exposed to methanol under controlled conditions. End-expiratory air and blood were collected before, during, and after exposure and analyzed for methanol
