Sumario: This paper describes the results of applying these exposure estimates to indexes of CPW (coal worker's pneumoconiosis) prevalence for the miners in order to investigate exposure-response. The study possesses a number of desirable features that enhance its validity. It is based on a large group of coal miners who were studied by using the same techniques and technicians over a relatively short period of time
