<abstract>De las diferentes formas de organización que existen en la Guardia Civil, es de obligado cumplimiento el sistema continuo: el trabajo es realizado de forma ininterrumpida (durante todo el día y durante todos los días de la semana). Este sistema continuo es necesario porque la seguridad pública, al igual que la asistencia sanitaria, transportes, suministro de energía ... requieren su provisión las 24 horas del día</abstract>
