<abstract>El objetivo de este artículo es delimitar en ámbito del daño ocasionado por el vertido del buque Prestige , considerar los métodos de cálculo y valorar en términos aproximados el impacto económico de la catástrofe. Dado que una parte de los daños no están contemplados en el marco europeo actual de responsabilidad ambiental, del estudio se desprenden argumentos sobre la eficiencia en la regulación del tráfico de hidrocarburos</abstract>
