<abstract>Mediante una encuesta efectuada a participantes del sector seguros a nivel continental, se obtuvo este documento que analiza las diferencias en variables económicas y no económicas en los países latinoamericanos y del Caribe para identificar su efecto en la efectividad del mercado de seguros. Se concluyó que los mercados de seguros en países con mejor gestión, supervisión y condiciones externas operan con mayor efectividad</abstract>
