<abstract>El presente trabajo recoge los resultados de un estudio sobre la capacidad de respuesta en momentos de agotamiento físico bajo situaciones de riesgo vital. Se llevó a cabo durante el período de 2004-2005 en el Parque de Bomberos de Cartagena. El objetivo era demostrar que la condición física puede alterar la capacidad de respuesta en situaciones de estrés vital y también, determinar como factor de riesgo la falta de preparación física en servicios de emergencia</abstract>
