The report evaluates the development of the geographical distribution of premiums of the main European insurance groups operating under the Solvency II regulatory regime, based on the information provided in their Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCR) for the period 2022-2024. The analysis identifies trends in international diversification, highlighting a moderate expansion of Life business in non-domestic markets and a traditionally more diversified structure in Non-Life business. In the report, the groups are segmented according to market share and geographic dispersion, with a strong international presence in Non-Life in markets such as the United States, while Italy and France lead in Life. In addition, the report reviews the capital requirements and solvency ratios of these insurance groups, which, in 2024, reflect certain reductions due in part to macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. It also differentiates the SCR calculation approaches (standard formula and internal models) and highlights the impact of Solvency II transitional and adjustment measures as mitigants against the volatility of the financial environment
