<abstract displayLabel="Summary">La última crisis financiera puso de manifiesto la necesidad de desarrollar un nuevo y efectivo marco de resolución para las entidades que operan no sólo en el ámbito de la Unión Europea (UE) sino más allá. En este contexto, el régimen de resolución ha mejorado significativamente y supuso la introducción de un nuevo paquete legislativo por el que se estableció el Mecanismo Único de Resolución (SRM) y el Fondo Único de Resolución (SRF) en el ámbito de la Unión Bancaria.</abstract>
