<dc:description xml:lang="es">Sumario: The evaluation of exposure to whole-body vibration according to ISO Standard 2631 requires very sophisticated instrumentation and lengthy analysis. A slight modification of the amplitude vs limiting time relationship make the use of the equivalent weighted amplitude concept possible. The evaluation may then be based either on the equivalent weighted 1/3 octave spectrum or, very simply, on the overall equivalent weighted amplitude. A "factor of equivalence" is proposed in order to compare the two methods. The methods are illustrated for six machines in use in a quarry</dc:description>
