<abstract displayLabel="Summary">El autor considera a la nueva Ley de Ordenación y Supervisión de Seguros como esperada y necesaria, pues tanto la adaptación de la legislación española en materia de seguros a las directivas comunitarias como la aclaración de los requisitos de acceso al mercado asegurador y del control a ejercer por la Administración pública, así como la solución de algunos temas pendientes como el coloquialmente llamado baremo indemnizatorio o la ubicación definitiva de la CLEA, eran cuestiones inaplazables. Sin embargo, destaca también otros aspectos de la Ley que considera insuficientes e incluso su valoración es negativa</abstract>
