<abstract>Los vehículos de dos ruedas constituyen una de las asignaturas pendientes del seguro español. De hecho, según la Dirección General de Tráfico, entre el 11 por 100 y el 22 por 100 de los ciclomotores y entre el 6 por 100 y el 11 por 100 de las motocicletas circulan sin cobertura por nuestras carreteras y vías urbanas. Los precios que ofrecen las entidades son prohibitivos para sus conductores, pero también hay que reconocer que la siniestralidad que éstos generan resulta insoportable para el sector, por lo que el Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros ha asumido un liderazgo en la cobertura de la RC de estos vehículos que no debería corresponderle </abstract>
